In 2013, we held a book drive for our first beneficiary, a start-up community library in Phuthaditjhaba. QwaQwa run by Nyakallo Lephoto. We received a lovely collection of paper and hardbacks, mostly South African novels covering a variety of topics.
Most books were in excellent condition, assuring many more readings, and the collection is currently on its way to QwaQwa.
We are still receiving steady donations, which give us the ability to expand, reach more facilities and supply new and replacement books to those where we are already working.
